Howard Moore Tennis Program Director

As a young junior born in England, Howard was coached by the late Australian Davis Cup coach, Harry Hopman. Moore joined Hopman's staff in 1978 and during that time Howard ran the Harry Hopman International Tennis Club in Balonia, Italy. Howard holds a BA in Hotel Management, Florida International University. He is also a P-1 with the United States Professional Tennis Association. Moore has been in the capacity of Program Director of Saddlebrook International Tennis since 1986.

Craig Boynton Academy Director
Tampa native Craig Boynton grew up on the courts of Saddlebrook training with household names including Jennifer Capriati and Jim Courier. After a stint on the ATP Tour, Craig focused his efforts on coaching and worked as a personal coach for Jim Courier for two years. He also coached and traveled with Ally Baker on the WTA Tour and Jeff Morrison, and Alex Kuznetsov on the ATP Tour. Boynton held the position of the Director of Tennis at the Five Seasons Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio taking the program from inception to extreme success in just 2 years. Boynton joined Saddlebrook Tennis Academy in the fall of 2007 and looks to develop some of the world's most talented student-athletes as well as work with top touring pros that train at the academy.

Alvaro Betancur Director of Coaching
Alvaro began his junior career in his home of Colombia. He was ranked as high as 60 in the world on the ATP Tour and competed in all of the Grand Slam events except the Australian Open. Betancur has notable wins against; Jose Higueras, Nick Saviano, Billy Martin, and Jaime Fillol. He represented Colombia 's Davis Cup Team for 9 years and served as captain for 2 years. He came to Saddlebrook in 1986 and is known to juniors and top touring pros alike as one of the best technical coaches in the business. His intensity and dedication to junior tennis is an integral part of the program and is instrumental to the development of Saddlebrook Academy players.

Jason Riley Director of Athlete Performance
Jason joined Saddlebrook after an 8 year stint at IMG Academies International Performance Institute (IPI) in Bradenton, Florida. During his tenure as Associate Director of Performance, Jason worked with world-class athletes in all sports. He served as the Director of Performance for the MLB spring training prep program, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the US U17 National Soccer Team, was the Director of Professional athlete development for the ATP / WTA clients training at Bollettieri Tennis Academy, and he designed and implemented the performance nutrition program for all athletes. Jason also served as a performance consultant with several universities, the US U20 National Soccer Team, and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the MLS Real Salt Lake Soccer team. Some of his most notable clientele include Derek Jeter, Tommy Haas, and Maria Sharapova. His comprehensive background and coaching experience have earned him recognition as a leader in the field of performance coaching among professional, amateur and junior athletes.

Saddlebrook Tennis is looking for full-time and seasonal player development coaches. Candidates must have experience working with all levels of players including nationally ranked players . In addition the candidates must have an accomplished tennis background and strong interpersonal skills. USPTA/PTR certification preferred.
