Each of the Saddlebrook golf courses was designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, incorporating wilderness areas full of cypress, pines, palms, and wildlife with rolling fairways and well-maintained greens. His namesake course features Tif-Eagle greens, and open, undulating well-guarded greens accented with many lakes, streams, and ponds. The Saddlebrook course, with Tif-Dwarf greens, is much tighter and flatter, with narrow tree-lined fairways and water on most holes. Thanks to our convenient design, the first tees of both courses and the 10th tee of the Saddlebrook course are located at the center of the resort, adjacent to meeting and guest rooms, resort recreation, restaurants, and shops.
Saddlebrook Resort's golf courses are used by resort guests, meeting attendees and local golfers. The resort is also capable of hosting local golf tournaments complete with awards banquets and prizes.

Led by two of the most celebrated coaches on the PGA TOUR, Steve Bann and Dale Lynch, BannLynch Golf offers the most comprehensive player development and instructional programs to golfers of all abilities.
Regarded as the number one golf coaching team in the world, Bann and Lynch originated a singular approach to training; it is "holistic" by integrating technical, mental, physical, and strategic factors and "Olympic-style" with its focus on building champions.
Chosen by the Australian government in the late 1990's, Bann and Lynch successfully created a national golf training program responsible for producing more champions than any other program internationally, including their current students and PGA TOUR winners, Aaron Baddeley, Geoff Ogilvy, and Stuart Appleby, plus others.
The Saddlebrook Golf Academy Learning Center offers double-ended practice teeing grounds that can accommodate over 70 practice stations, to practice all distances. The Scoring Zone Super Green is more than one acre with practice bunkers that were designed by Arnold Palmer to train for every type of short game shot.
The Golf Academy practice facility is currently under expansion and is due to be completed in late 2011. Upon completion, the addition to the Academy will include 20 acres dedicated to golf instruction, multiple teeing areas and target greens, a dedicated short game practice area, two indoor golf studios with the most advanced offering of swing analysis technology, an indoor putting lab, and a custom fitting and repair center.
