Accommodations

The junior boarding program is designed to accommodate students participating in the athletic and academic programs. Boarders participate either in golf or tennis. Students are welcome to use the fitness facility and swimming pool located at Lakeside Village. Special activities are planned throughout the week such as trips to the mall, movies, and local theme parks.

Students are housed in two bedroom condominium units on Saddlebrook Resort. Each unit contains a bath for each bedroom, a living/dining area, a kitchen and a patio. The units are regularly maintained by the resort maintenance staff. Students are responsible for making their beds daily, washing their clothes, keeping personal items neatly stored and the kitchen clean. Once a week, the Saddlebrook housekeeping staff changes the linen and cleans the bathrooms and kitchen, and vacuums each unit. Housekeeping replaces towels everyday. Rooms are inspected daily by the Resident Assistants (RAs) and routinely.

Curfew is 9:30pm and lights out Monday through Thursday is 10:00pm. This is enforced with nightly bed checks conducted by the RAs. Supervisory and support services are in place for boarding students.
RAs provide counseling, transportation and supervisory services. Furthermore, they are responsible for organizing and implementing the after school activities mentioned above. The RAs are overseen the Supervisor of Boarding.

Emergency medical assistance is available to students on a 24-hour basis by the resort security staff who are trained in CPR and emergency first aid. Hospitals, walk-in clinics and specialists are all located within a fifteen-mile radius of the school.

Students have a variety of nutritional food options which are all prepared by the our resort chef and his staff. Students with special food allergies or requirements are encouraged to call in advance to make arrangements to accommodate their needs.
