The Community
Saddlebrook Preparatory is an independent school situated on the grounds of Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida, which is located approximately 12 miles north of Tampa. Our local community is one of the most rapidly growing suburban centers in Pasco County.  Despite this growth, the area is renowned for its beautiful natural areas and abundant wildlife.

The Prep School
Founded in 1992, the Saddlebrook Academy was created in conjunction with Pasco County School Board. The school became private in 1997 and was then renamed as Saddlebrook Preparatory (Prep). All students enrolled in our Florida prep school are concurrently enrolled in either the Saddlebrook Tennis Program or the Saddlebrook Golf Academy. Saddlebrook Prep is a fully accredited academic institution, which is recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Florida Council of Independent Schools. Our low student/teacher ratio of 10 to 1 creates an intimate atmosphere that promotes communication while allowing for the individual nurturing of each student’s potential.

Our Students
Saddlebrook Preparatory attracts the top student athletes from around the globe. Our current enrollment includes just over 100 students from more than 20 different countries. Approximately 50% of these students are enrolled in our Prep boarding program. This creates a unique and advantageous multicultural environment that enhances each student’s experience both on the court and in the classroom.
