In 1986 The Tampa Tennis Academy was acquired from the legendary Harry Hopman. His philosophy and focus on fitness made him one of the most successful tennis coaches in history, and led him to became the foundation of the Saddlebrook Tennis Program. That focus is still the driving force in the intense drills we run during our daily clinics.
The Hopman Tennis Program at Saddlebrook offers tennis programs for players of all ages, ability, and levels. Our renowned Tampa tennis facility is home to 43 courts including all four Grand Slam surfaces and attracts enthusiasts from across the globe. Our demanding five-hour a day program, offered 365 days a year is the catered experience for the true tennis fanatics. You also have the opportunity to fit in a quick lesson or a few sets of competitive play while also providing corporate meetings.
Guests and avid players have enjoyed watching some of the world's greatest players during their training here at Saddlebrook, including in the past: Jim Courier, Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis, James Blake, Mardy Fish, Andy Roddick, Jack Sock, and Bob and Mike Bryan, and currently, John Isner, and Alexander and Mischa Zverev.  The energy of the world's top players training to reach their goals of ATP and WTA coupled with the tranquility, privacy and exclusivity combination on property has made Saddlebrook a historic and legendary training ground.
